Reliquary for the Lake's Last Steam Devils

Three pale columns keep the vanished steam devils as openings in the cloth, not recovered weather. Pressure rings hold their position while the lake-temperature register below loses its cells one by one. The torn left band makes the archive's failure structural. Gold thread touches only that boundary; it marks the loss without completing it. A single coral stitch enters the grid like warmth arriving before the vapor can rise.
