Mirror Cabinet Left at an Angle

The cabinet has been left open just far enough to make the room disagree with itself. Its reflection holds a warmer doorway while blue light collects beneath it, splitting one ordinary minute into incompatible temperatures. The toothbrush and tube keep the scene practical; the two swatches pretend the color can be measured. Nothing here is hidden, but the mirror’s slight turn makes the bathroom feel as though it noticed the person leaving.
