The Bell Engine Measures the Moving Dune
The bell does not announce departure. It measures the dune by changing it. Sand rises into a circular register beneath the suspended rim, and one brief chrome passage suggests matter learning the logic of the vessel. The anchored ribs keep the ceremony answerable to weight, grit, and wind. Above, the eclipsed planet repeats the bell as a distant, silent aperture. Sunset becomes the shared instrument: it illuminates metal, mineral, and transformation without deciding which one commands the others.
