Light Kept Above the Covered Clock

The clock is hidden, but the room has not forgotten time. Light from the unseen lamp has climbed to the ceiling and settled there with the weight of a spill, leaving the table and covered object below in practical silence. The chair, door, bowl, and mirror remain witnesses rather than participants. Vera Lune lets the impossible stay almost courteous: one rule has changed, and the room continues as if it has agreed to keep the secret.
