The Window Keeping the Spoon
The spoon remains on the table, but its reflection has been kept by the window. The room accepts this quietly: chair, cup, bowl, napkin, and worn wood continue with ordinary weight. What has changed is the agreement between object and image. The sealed glass holds the silver double upright, as if reflection had become another kind of furniture. Vera Lune lets the breach stay small enough to be believed, and exact enough to make the whole room wait.
